I strive to help children feel welcome at my
home.  We use most of my house.  The living
room is the "living room"... children read, do
puzzles, draw, play board games, use the
view-finders, listen to music and do other
quiet activities here.
I have been a Licensed Provider for 6 years.  Before
that I attended  Concordia University for a degree in
Elementary Education and was employed as a Nanny
for three wonderful families.

I grew up in Northern Minnesota, always on the water
and in nature, so it is one of my passions to create an
environment that has natural elements for children's
imaginations to flourish and also to help them gain an
appreciation for all things nature.

About the Provider
Janelle's House
I strive to make my home your child's extended home.
Our days are easy-going and I give children time to be
kids... time to play.

~ To provide a safe and
loving environment which
is rich in natural elements
to help foster children's
imaginations, social skills,
academic knowledge, and
self-help skills.

~ To provide children with
time and space to explore
the world around them in
their own way at their own
pace.
There is no such thing as
"just playing."  For a
preschooler, play is work.
They learn about life
through hands-on
activities that they choose
throughout the day, at a
pace that is not rushed.
We don't rush to get to
the "next thing"... we enjoy
the flow of the day.

EMBRACE CHILDHOOD ~
It needn't be rushed!
I also provide a Play Room where kids
can be kids!  I rotate toys and change
up the room often to ensure variety.

We also have a fully stocked Art
Room for Hours of Creative Fun!!
